Information we collect
Account and profile
We create an anonymous account identifier through Firebase Authentication and Unity Authentication so your profile can work across sessions. Your profile may include a display name, selected character, level, XP, wins, total matches, ranking, owned items, equipped loadout and shard balance.
Gameplay and multiplayer
We process match participants, scores, results, match timing, connection state, lobby and relay identifiers, progression changes and anti-abuse validation data. This is needed to run live matches, resolve results consistently, prevent duplicate rewards and maintain rankings.
Optional social handles
If you choose to add an Instagram or TikTok handle, we store it with your public player profile. Do not add a handle you do not want other players to see.
Purchases
Apple processes payment details. We receive product identifiers, purchase status, transaction identifiers and a privacy-preserving account reference needed to validate purchases, grant consumable shards and prevent fraud. We do not receive your full card number.
Diagnostics and consented analytics
If you opt in, Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics may process app events, device and operating-system information, app version, crash traces and diagnostic identifiers. You can disable this collection in Settings.
+How we use information
- Run authentication, matchmaking, friend invitations, lobbies and relay connections.
- Save profile, inventory, progression and settings.
- Validate match results, award XP and update leaderboards.
- Validate purchases and restore the correct in-game balance where applicable.
- Protect the service from tampering, fraud and abuse using Firebase App Check and Apple App Attest where available.
- Provide support and, only with consent, improve reliability through diagnostics.
Public profile and leaderboard data
Your display name, selected profile character, level, rank, wins, total matches and any optional social handle may be visible to other players in matchmaking, match headers, profile cards and leaderboards. Account identifiers, purchase identifiers and private service tokens are not displayed publicly.
+Service providers
- Google Firebase: authentication, Firestore database, App Check, optional Analytics and optional Crashlytics.
- Unity Gaming Services: anonymous authentication, Lobby and Relay multiplayer connectivity.
- Apple: App Store distribution, in-app purchases and App Attest.
These providers process data under their own terms and may process information in countries other than yours using lawful transfer mechanisms.
+Retention and account deletion
Profile and gameplay records are kept while your account is active and as needed to operate rankings and protect the integrity of completed matches. You can use the in-app account deletion control to delete your player profile, friend relationships and requests, duel records, loadouts, and Firebase and Unity authentication accounts.
Purchase transaction records may be retained separately where required for fraud prevention, accounting, dispute handling or legal obligations. Backups may take a limited period to expire.

- Enable or disable optional analytics and crash collection in Settings.
- Leave optional social handles blank.
- Request access, correction or deletion by contacting us.
- Delete your account from inside the app.
Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to object, restrict processing, receive a copy of your data or complain to your local data-protection authority.
+Children
Sling Duel is not directed to children under 13, or the minimum digital-consent age required in their country. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below that age.
Security and changes
We use access controls, authenticated services and platform integrity checks, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. We may update this policy as the app changes and will revise the effective date above.
